Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

One variation of the image method we looked at a couple days ago is writing in shorthand or using symbols. It’s just another way to make a verse more memorable. If you like to text:

Let the [peace symbol] of [cross]

rule n ur [hearts]

since as membrs of 1 body

u were called 2 [peace]

& b [turkey]

(That’s a turkey if you can’t tell–as in Thanksgiving Day.)

Of course you can come up with your own symbols and abbreviations as well. If you have a buddy that you’re memorizing with, you could text the verse back and forth to each other.
